BNI Coal, Ltd., a BNI Energy company and subsidiary of ALLETE, Inc. with locations in Bismarck & Center, ND is now accepting applications for the following positions at the Center Mine, Center, ND: utility/heavy equipment operators.

Responsibilities: General labor as utility/heavy equipment operator including:

Operate and maintain large mining equipment
Pump water and maintain pumps, and assist mechanics
Must be proficient in operating large mining equipment and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Shift work

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Three years’ work experience. Two year college degree may be substituted for 2 years work experience
Experience in operating large construction/earth moving equipment is required
Experience with electrical, welding, dragline maintenance, or diesel mechanics are preferred but not required
Computer skills desired
